Towers Trip

A day out to Alton Towers, with the Toach’s and the Richard’s. Highlights included the new Cbeebies Land, Battle Galleons (Wet!), and the Runaway Mine Train (twice – “Choo-Choo!!). Thanks very much to Al for the tickets, a great day out for everyone.

Explorers Club

The inaugural meeting of the Forest Park explorers club, went well – all the way to the top of the hill. Oscar reckons they earned at least 124 explorer badges on this first expedition alone!

Football Crazy

Because weekends aren’t busy enough already, Ozzie has added football training to his Saturday morning schedule! Last weekend was a bit wet, as well!

Bank Holiday at Carsington

A trip to the 9th largest reservoir in the country means it’s time for climbing, and football practice, as well as exploring secret paths, mazes and ice cream!!

Choo-Choo

All aboard for the Santa Express at the Churnet Valley Railway, near Leek. A return trip from Cheddleton to Froghall, and back through a beautiful valley once famous for it’s Iron Ore and Copper production, on a railway first opened in 1849. Clowns, Ballon Modellers, Mince Pies, Drinks and a present from Santa himself.
