Just 4 nights in a gite in “the middle of nowhere”<\/a> but with a huge garden to explore, and 15 mins drive from the sea at Fort Mahon Plage<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n We managed to squeeze plenty of things into our stay; a beach or two, a French restaurant<\/a>, an aqua-park with a scary wave machine<\/a> and pony trekking<\/a>.<\/p>\n Hopefully we will get to return some time soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Some photos from our mini-break to Picardie – only about an hours drive south from Calais.
