First of all we’d like to say a big “Thank You” to everyone who was at Charlotte’s christening on the 22nd – I know quite a few of you had a long journey up north, to Stoke for the evening. It was great to see everyone again, we just wish we had had a bit more time after the service to have a longer chat with everyone – especially as this was the first time that Von had met some of you.<\/p>\n

Our thanks also go out to Father Brian, who gave us a unique and memorable christening service as part of the Festival of Light celebration on Holy Saturday evening.<\/p>\n

We’d also like to say a special “thank you” to Charlotte’s God parents; Judith, Judy, Zoe and Simon, as well as the whole congregation at Holy Trinity Sneyd, and everybody who was kind enough to give Charlotte some (more) beautiful gifts.<\/p>\n

Many thanks as well to Charlotte’s Gran for making not one, but two delicious cakes that were enjoyed by everybody after the service, and we can’t leave out Charlotte’s two Sisters Alex and Steph who both looked beautiful, and who have both been such a help to Von and I since their little Sister was born.<\/p>\n
