So, why do you need a website?

That’s a good question, and there’s a few answers.

Doing it for my Brain

Having a job where you don’t have to think, it’s easy to get used to not using your brain for anything – learning the basics of web-design and hosting is as good a way of any to keep the grey matter working.

Doing it for the Kids

Somewhere in the distant future there will come a time when our kids won’t be satisfied with Bebo and MSN. Having a place where they can practice with their own site can only be good for them.

Doing it for the Family

Most of our friends and family’s  have access to the ‘net, so it’s easier and quicker to share photo’s and stories with everyone.

Doing it for Simplicity

Owning a domain means we can gradually dump all the extra email addresses we’ve accumulated over the years and just use a couple, thanks to the free Google Apps for Domains service.

All sounds a bit optimistic to me! We’ll see.
