A day out for everyone (except Steph) to the seaside resort of Southport, commonly known as the Riviera of Merseyside!
We fancied a change from West Kirby and North Wales before this rubbish summer finishes, and Southport is only about 1hour 15mins away. The sun was out, and the Fish and Chips were decent.

A nice looking pier runs across the beach towards the sea, somewhere in the distance! This really is “high tide” as well.

The girl’s refuse to panic, despite Oscar’s pushchair being trapped in a sand dune.

Lottie and Dad check out the funfair, we had to beat a hasty retreat before the ride started however as Lottie didn’t like the look of her steed one bit. Perhaps she thought it was a bit “pony”!

A nice bit of architecture, possibly inspired by the Alamillo Bridge in Seville, by Santiago Calatrava.

In a blatant disregard for Health and Safety, Al and Lottie head off to try and find the Sea.

Lottie takes a breather from the search for the sandwich that she dropped.
