Time for a quick catch-up with everything Charlotte related. The past three and a half weeks have flown past!
Perhaps Lottie is aware that she was 15 days late in arriving, as she now seems to have gone into overdrive in an effort to make up for lost time – or more accurately, lost feeding time.
It is also fair to say she has a considerable appetite, and the results became clear when her health visitor weighed and measured her 3 days ago. After only 3 weeks and a day she had grown 4cm in length and put on 1lb 2oz (just over 0.5kg) in weight, that is some going and put her very near the top of the health visitors charts!
This means that she has already outgrown the Moses Basket and the Carrycot for the pushchair. They didn’t last long!
The dreaded sleepless nights… well I think we have been fairly lucky so far. Once she can be persuaded to go to sleep, Lottie will generally sleep for a reasonable length of time. She is however, very determined to avoid falling asleep in the first place – even when she is exhausted!
I have been busy taking photos, and the odd video, and will get them up here as soon as I get a bit more time.
