Just for “Charidee mate…”

I volunteered recently to go on a charity bike ride, to raise money for UNICEF UK, as part of the DHL Lifecycle 2010 Coast to Coast challenge.

The route was from my DHL depot in Stoke, to Barton-under-Needwood, where there are Pirelli and Argos depots run by DHL – just over 35miles in total.

We were lucky to have a really sunny day, and about 15 people completed the ride. As you might see from the pictures there was quite a wide variety of people on the ride, one bloke had even bought his fags with him for when we stopped for refreshments!!

At the time of writing I have raised nearly £100 to help improve infant healthcare treatment in the Nandurbar District in Maharashtra, in India. (Show me where this is!)

So a very big thank you to the following people;

Louise and Matt, David, Tanya, Marianne & Reuben, Simon, Mark, Mum, Angela, Dave, Gary, Paul, and Chris.
