Stage 2 of the 2010 Tour of Britain was in Stoke today. The stage started in Burslem (Queen of the Potteries!), and finished in Hanley (Stokes’ City Centre) after a fast and sometimes hilly route through Staffordshire and the edge of the Peak District. I volunteered recently to go on a charity bike ride, to raise money for UNICEF UK, as part of the DHL Lifecycle 2010 Coast to Coast challenge.
